Recent Roles and Achievements (2022–2025)

Since April 2023, Hoda has served as COO and CMO for Microsoft Middle East and Africa, partnering with the area leadership team to drive business growth and operational excellence. She leads the operations team, ensuring business health and performance, and supports strategic projects across multiple countries. Hoda connects Sales and Marketing, executing major events, driving demand generation, and co-owning marketing plans and budgets for the region.

From September 2022 to April 2023, she was the General Manager for Financial Services Industry at Microsoft MEA, where she led sales and advisory teams, drove C-suite engagement, expanded strategic accounts, accelerated digital transformation, and built tailored industry models. She played a key role in engaging with regulators and enriching partnerships with global financial services partners.

Previous Experience

Prior to her current roles, Hoda served as COO and CMO for Microsoft MEA Multi-Country Cluster, leading marketing, operations, and business health for emerging markets across 60 countries. She drove strategy customization for Africa, focusing on high-impact initiatives and scaling market reach with limited resources.

She has held leadership positions as Enterprise Commercial and Public Sector Lead, Country Manager for Microsoft Lebanon and neighboring New Markets, Government Lead for Microsoft North Africa, East Mediterranean, and Pakistan, and Financial Services Lead for Microsoft MEA. In these roles, Hoda successfully drove collaboration among industry experts, engaged stakeholders on regulatory and policy environments, and designed strong go-to-market strategies through partners.
